On 22 July 2022, ICDP participated in a webinar on human rights and the promotion of good practices in Spain and Kyrgyzstan, organized by Casa Asia and the OSCE Academy in Bishkek. Executive Director Asunta Vivó discussed the events leading up to abolition in both countries, as well as recent developments regarding other countries in Central Asia, which have the potential of making the extended Cental Asian region death penalty-free.

The webinar was chaired by Dr. Anja Mihr, DAAD Associate Professor at OSCE Academy in Bishkek.
