On 20-21 August, Commissioner Greve accompanied by Executive Director Asunta Vivo participated in a conference titled “Death Penalty Reform: International Perspective and Chinese Practice” in Beijing, China. The conference was organized by the College for Criminal Law Science, Beijing Normal University.
The objective of the conference was to review death penalty reforms in China, offer proposals for future death penalty reform in China from international and comparative perspectives and summarize findings of the China-EU death penalty project undertaken by the Death Penalty Research Centre.
