With the motive of the award of the Beccaria Medal to Professor Roger Hood for his longstanding work on the abolition of the death penalty, see enclosed the message of President of the International Commission against the Death Penalty Mr. Federico Mayor congratulating Professor Roger Hood.
The event was organized on 27 June by the “University of Salamanca, Ciencias de la Seguridad, University of Castilla La Mancha, Instituto de Derecho Penal Europeo e Internacional, Academiscforabolition in collaboration with the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación, the Societé Internationale de Defense Sociale and Universia”.
