Edgar Tamayo Arias, Mexican national, is scheduled to be executed in Texas on 22 January 2014 in Texas.
Edgar Tamayo, 46, was sentenced to death without having been informed about his right to seek consular assistance as required by Article 36 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations to which the US is a State Party.
