ICDP concluded a mission to the Republic of Korea (Korea) from 15 to 21 September 2026. The mission was led by Commissioner Tsakhia Elbegdorj, former President of Mongolia, accompanied by Asunta Vivó Cavaller and Dr Rajiv Narayan, Co-Executive Directors of ICDP.
The purpose of the visit was to continue ICDP's engagement in dialogue with key national and Seoul-based international stakeholders, to listen, understand and discuss the situation of the death penalty in Korea.
