On 8 December 2021, The Norwegian Centre for Human Rights and the Research Group on Human Rights, Armed Conflicts, and the Law of Peace and Security organized a conference on international, regional and national efforts towards ensuring the abolition of the death penalty – an integral part of the Oslo Peace Days 2021. Commissioner Hanne Sophie Greve addressed the interconnectedness between the rule of law and abolition, both state responsibilities, as well as the work of the International Commission against the Death Penalty.
