A delegation of the International Commission against the Death Penalty, headed by its President Judge Navi Pillay, visited Havana, the Republic of Cuba, from 21 to 26 April 2019. The delegates included ICDP Executive Director Asunta Vivó, and ICDP Director of Policy Dr Rajiv Narayan.

ICDP was invited to participate in the 12th International Congress of Justice Ministers "Paving the Way: Defeating Hatred", organized by the NGO Community Sant´Egidio in Rome.

An ICDP delegation comprising of Commissioner Hanne Sophie Greve and Director of Policy Rajiv Narayan visited Bangkok from 8 to 11 October to participate in events organized on the occasion of the World Day against the Death Penalty. The delegation also had meetings with other Bangkok based organizations, experts to understand the situation of the death penalty in Thailand and in Southeast Asia.

ICDP delegation headed by Commissioner and former President of Mongolia Tsakhia Elbegdorj accompanied by ICDP Executive Director Asunta Vivo and Director of Policy, Rajiv Narayan visited Zambia on the occasion of the Human Rights Day.

An ICDP delegation consisting of ICDP Vice President Ibrahim Najjar and Commissioner Bill Richardson, and ICDP Secretariat (Director of Policy Dr Rajiv Narayan), visited Doha, Qatar on 15-16 December 2019.
