ICDP welcomes the adoption of the tenth United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) resolution on a moratorium on the use of the death penalty (UNGA moratorium resolution), which was supported by an unprecedented 130 countries on 17 December 2024 at the UNGA plenary session. 32 countries voted against the resolution, while 22 abstained.
